Delete your account

Delete inside the app

1. Open Jazagora and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Open Profile.
3. Scroll to Information and Support and select Delete account.
4. Read the warning and confirm permanent deletion.
5. If requested, sign in again for security and repeat the confirmation.

Firebase requires a recent authentication before a sensitive action such as deletion. This protects your account if a device has been left signed in.

What deletion removes

• your Firebase Authentication account and Jazagora user identifier;
• your Jazagora account profile;
• your saved venue, event, radio and publication favourites;
• reviews and comments associated with your Jazagora account;
• your active preference for optional newsletters, promotions and communications.

Deleting your Jazagora account does not delete your Google account and does not affect accounts you may hold with venues, ticket providers, broadcasters or other third parties.

What may remain temporarily

Limited information may remain for a short period in encrypted backups, service-provider logs or deletion records until normal retention cycles complete. Data may also be retained where required by law, necessary to establish or defend legal claims, prevent abuse, or document that a valid deletion request was fulfilled.

Such information is not used for promotional communications. A minimal suppression record may be retained where necessary to ensure that a withdrawn communication preference continues to be respected.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app or the in-app process fails, email [email protected] from the address connected to your account with the subject Delete my Jazagora account.

Include only:

• the email address used for the Jazagora account;
• a clear statement that you want the account permanently deleted;
• any brief technical detail needed to explain why in-app deletion was unavailable.

Do not send your password or identity documents unless Jazagora specifically requests proportionate information through a secure method. We may ask you to verify control of the account. Requests are handled without undue delay and generally within one month.

Before you continue

• Deletion cannot be undone.
• Your favourites will no longer be available.
• Your published reviews and associated account data will be removed.
• You may continue browsing public events, venues, publications and radio streams without an account.
• If you later register again, a new account and new favourites will be created.
