1. Operator and contact

Jazagora is currently operated privately by Luca Costantini, Rome, Italy. Contact: [email protected].

2. What Jazagora provides

Jazagora is an information and discovery platform for Italian jazz events and venues, international jazz publications and jazz radio streams from around the world. It may provide event and venue details, maps, third-party booking or website links, a publication directory, favourites, venue reviews and radio playback.

You can browse public content and listen to available streams without creating an account. Registration is optional and is required only for features such as saving favourites and publishing venue reviews.

3. Accounts and age requirement

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep access credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by Jazagora’s own failure.
• You may sign in using email and password or Google Sign-In. Use of Google services is also subject to Google’s applicable terms and privacy information.
• You may delete your account from the app or request assistance as described on the Account Deletion page.

4. Events, venues, publications and sources

Event information may be collected automatically from public jazz-related sources through Jazagora Daily Oracle, an automated aggregation workflow. Venue information and other catalogue content may be maintained in Cloud Firestore, which is Jazagora’s technical database and not the original source of that information.

The Magazine section is a directory of independent jazz publications and editorial websites. Jazagora does not reproduce or host their articles and does not claim ownership of publication names, trademarks, logos or editorial content. Selecting a publication may open the publisher’s independent website.

Jazagora uses limited factual information, original summaries and links to the originating website where reasonably available. Principal source categories and attribution practices are described on the Sources & Attribution page. Inclusion does not imply affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement.

Automated extraction and third-party information may be incomplete, delayed, duplicated or inaccurate. Event dates, times, prices, availability, performers, accessibility information and venue details can change without notice.

Always verify essential information with the organiser, venue, broadcaster or official booking source before travelling, purchasing, reserving or making plans. Jazagora is not the event organiser, ticket seller or venue operator unless expressly stated.

Requests to correct or remove an event, venue, publication or other listing may be sent to [email protected].

5. Radio Live

The Radio Live section of Jazagora allows users to access online radio streams made publicly available by the respective broadcasters or rights holders.

Jazagora does not host, record, modify or directly retransmit audio content. Streams are played through a technical connection to public URLs provided or made available by the individual radio stations.

Audio content, schedules, trademarks, station names and all related rights remain the property and responsibility of their respective owners. Jazagora has no control over transmitted content, continuous availability, interruptions, technical changes or territorial restrictions applied by broadcasters.

Jazagora may modify, suspend or remove a radio stream at any time, including because of malfunction, a rights-holder request, technical issues or uncertainty regarding permitted use.

6. Reviews and user content

Registered users may publish a star rating and written review for a venue. By submitting content, you confirm that:

• it reflects a genuine experience or honestly held opinion;
• it does not contain unlawful, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, obscene, deceptive or defamatory material;
• it does not reveal private or sensitive personal data about another person;
• it does not infringe copyright, trademarks or other third-party rights;
• it is not spam, undisclosed advertising or manipulated content.

You retain ownership of your content. You grant Jazagora a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and present the service. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for temporary backups or lawful retention.

Jazagora may moderate, hide or remove content and may restrict accounts where reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect users or comply with law. Moderation is not guaranteed to be immediate or exhaustive.

7. Favourites

Favourites are a personal organisational feature. Saving an event, venue, radio station or publication does not reserve a place, buy a ticket, guarantee availability or preserve third-party content permanently. A saved event may remain visible after its date for personal reference, but source links or details may later become unavailable.

8. Optional communications and promotions

If you actively enable optional communications, Jazagora may send updates, newsletters, promotions and possible discount codes for dinners, concerts or partner initiatives. This consent is separate from registration, off by default and can be withdrawn at any time.

Promotions, partner offers and discount codes may be subject to separate conditions, limited availability, eligibility requirements and expiration dates. Unless Jazagora expressly states otherwise, the relevant venue, organiser or partner is responsible for fulfilling the promoted offer.

9. Third-party services and links

Jazagora may open maps, broadcaster streams, venue websites, publisher websites, booking services or other third-party resources. Those services are independent and governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Jazagora does not control and is not responsible for their content, availability, transactions or data practices.

10. Acceptable use

You must not misuse Jazagora. In particular, you must not:

• attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security or disrupt the service;
• scrape or systematically extract data in a way that overloads the service or violates third-party rights;
• impersonate another person, create deceptive accounts or manipulate reviews;
• upload malware or use the service for unlawful activity;
• circumvent broadcaster restrictions or use streams outside the functionality provided by Jazagora.

11. Intellectual property

The Jazagora name, visual identity, interface and original software or content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party event images, venue information, publication names, editorial content, station names, radio content and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Inclusion in Jazagora does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.

12. Availability and changes

Jazagora is an evolving service. Features, listings, radio streams and availability may change, be suspended or be discontinued. Reasonable efforts are made to maintain the service, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.

13. Disclaimer and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jazagora is provided on an “as available” basis. Jazagora does not guarantee the accuracy of third-party event, venue, publication, radio, pricing, map or booking information.

Jazagora is not responsible for event cancellations, schedule changes, ticket transactions, travel decisions, venue services, broadcaster content, third-party offers or losses caused solely by independent third parties. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protections.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Jazagora or delete your account at any time. Jazagora may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of serious or repeated violations, security threats, unlawful use or legal requirements. Where appropriate, reasonable notice or an opportunity to clarify may be provided.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to mandatory protections available to consumers under the law of their country of residence. Courts and dispute procedures are determined by applicable mandatory law.

16. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as Jazagora evolves. Material changes may be communicated through the app or by email where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date of updated terms constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
