Sources & Attribution
How Jazagora discovers, organises and attributes third-party information about jazz events, venues, publications and radio broadcasters.
1. Event sources and Jazagora Daily Oracle
Jazagora Daily Oracle is an automated workflow that discovers and normalises publicly available jazz-event information. It may collect limited factual information such as event title, date, explicitly stated time, venue, city, artist, booking link and originating source URL.
The source registry includes official organisers and venues, jazz networks, festival programmes and selected editorial jazz sources. Principal national and festival sources currently include:
- I-Jazz / ItaliaJazz Eventi
- Jazzitalia calendar and news
- Casa del Jazz
- Time in Jazz
- Torino Jazz Festival
- Fano Jazz by the Sea
- Jazz Convention
- JAZZIT Agenda
- Il Giornale della Musica, with a mandatory jazz-content filter
- Jazz Agenda
- Umbria Jazz
- Crossroads / Jazz Network
- Musica Jazz
This is a transparency summary, not a permanent or exhaustive registry. Additional official venue and organiser sources may be added, updated or removed as coverage changes. The original source URL associated with an individual event remains the most specific attribution.
2. Venue information
Venue records may be compiled from official venue websites, organisers, publicly available business information and direct verification. Information can include a venue’s public name, address, city, website, public contact details, coordinates and a short original description.
Cloud Firestore is the technical database used by Jazagora to store these records; it is not the original source. Venue details can change, so users should verify essential information directly with the venue before travelling or booking.
3. Magazine and publication directory
The Magazine section is a curated directory of independent jazz magazines, publications, portals and editorial websites from around the world. Each listing identifies the publication and links to its official or primary website.
Jazagora does not host or reproduce the publications’ articles. Publication names, trademarks, logos, photographs and editorial content remain the property and responsibility of their respective owners. A listing may be corrected or removed following verification or a rights-holder request.
4. Live radio broadcasters
Jazagora identifies each listed radio broadcaster and provides a link to its official website. Audio playback uses stream URLs publicly provided or made available by the relevant broadcaster or its technical distribution provider.
Jazagora does not host, record, modify or directly retransmit radio programmes. Station names, trademarks, schedules and audio content belong to their respective owners. Stream availability and technical details may change without notice.
5. Maps, booking and external services
Maps, ticketing pages, venue websites, publication websites and broadcaster services are independent third-party resources. Their own terms, privacy notices and technical restrictions apply when a user opens or connects to them.
6. Corrections, attribution and removal requests
Organisers, venues, publishers, broadcasters and rights holders may request a correction, updated attribution or removal by emailing [email protected].
Please identify the relevant listing and provide the official source or sufficient information to verify the request. Jazagora may suspend a listing while a request is reviewed.
